I want to be someone who can embrace life. Embrace my family, loving and nurturing all of the people in it. Embrace my friends with acceptance and kindness. Embrace the ups and downs of life. Embrace the challenge of sorting through what matters and what doesn't.

And someone who can be embraced. By my Loving Father who bears with me in my successes and failures regardless. By my husband who supports me in everything, and asks for so little. By my children as we journey through our days. By my friends as we share life.

It's a life's work, and I'm still working on it. Bear with me please.

The Black Dog

Blergidy bleh bleh bleh bleh My ongoing fight with the black dog is pulling me under.

I will NOT stay like this.

Here to list the achievements of my day as an act of gratitude and part of the battle.

Today I got all the kids ready and out the door for Star's ballet class.
And watched her in the parade. How beautiful she was with her hair in a ballet bun and her flowing tutu skirt, a glimpse of who she is growing up to be...There she is, she can hear me calling, but can't see me, lol.

I had a shower.

I had Ruben to take Lok up to BMX.

I  cooked dinner.

I finally hung up the load of washing that has been rewashed 3 times because it hasn't made it out yet.

Rick rang me from work to see how I am going. One excellent side benefit of him struggling with depression for so long, is that he totally understands.

Monday I WILL ring the clinic.

I can't believe I'm doing this...

It's a bit scary really.

But I generally have my mind spinning at 100mph so maybe it will help to allow some out. It's very hard to even keep to the same chain of thought.

But let the blogging begin.....
